Puts notification icons and a clock right next to your mouse cursor.
Proximate is a native macOS utility that moves time-sensitive information from the edges of your screen to the one place you're always looking: your mouse cursor.
On modern displays, notifications appear in the top-right corner, the clock lives in the menu bar, and app badges sit on the Dock — all far from where you're actually working. On a 27-inch monitor, the notification corner is roughly 27 degrees from your central vision — well outside the range where most people reliably notice transient changes. On an ultra-wide, it's even worse.
Proximate closes that gap. It monitors the apps you choose and places their icons near your pointer whenever they need attention. When you switch to the app, the icon disappears. It also includes a cursor-adjacent clock so you always know the time without glancing at the menu bar.
